Terms of Service

These terms of service (hereinafter "TOS") govern the legal framework for accessing and using SandTest.

These TOS are available on the site under the "TOS" section.

Any registration or use of the site implies the user's unconditional acceptance of these TOS. During registration on the site via the registration form, each user expressly accepts these TOS by checking the box preceding the following text:

"I accept the Terms of Service, and I consent to the processing of my personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws."

In case of non-acceptance of the TOS stipulated in this contract, the user must refrain from accessing the services offered by the site.

SandTest reserves the right to modify the content of these TOS unilaterally and at any time.

Article 2: Access to the Site and Services

The site https://test.sand.fr/en allows the user to access free online services that facilitate test automation.

The user must provide accurate information about themselves. All data provided will be considered as true. The user is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of the information they provide. The user agrees to update their information, particularly their email address, to ensure that the information remains accurate and up-to-date.

Article 3: User Account

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password and for restricting access to their computer. The user agrees to inform the site without delay of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.

The site cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from non-compliance with this obligation.

Article 6: Liability

The use of SandTest is at the user's sole risk. SandTest is exclusively intended for testing and validation purposes and is not designed or suitable for use in a production environment.

Consequently, SandTest shall not be liable for any damages, data loss, alterations, service interruptions, or any other direct or indirect prejudice resulting from:

  • Use of SandTest outside its intended scope, particularly in production;
  • Misuse of the tool or use not in accordance with its documentation, purpose, or recommendations provided;
  • Incorrect manipulation or inappropriate configuration of the environment by the user.

For example, SandTest shall not be liable in case of an incident occurring as a result of an inappropriate action by the user, such as executing a test scenario that leads to the deletion of a database or the loss of production data.

In any case, SandTest's liability shall be limited to direct and proven damages resulting from a breach of its obligations, expressly excluding any compensation for indirect, consequential, or intangible damages (such as loss of profits, data, operation, or image).

Any event due to a force majeure leading to a malfunction of the site or server and subject to any interruption or modification in case of maintenance, shall not engage the responsibility of https://test.sand.fr/en. In these cases, the user agrees not to hold the editor responsible for any interruption or suspension of service, even without notice.

The user has the possibility to contact the site by email at the editor's address communicated in ARTICLE 1.

Article 8: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
